Author’s introduction

           

Pending its publication in traditional paper format, I have the pleasure of presenting to this website my book that we've been entitled Alegres Soldados.

That work of mine does not aim to achieve historic, political or literary goals and has the least scientific / academic purport.

It's simply about how sentimental or emotional things are related to people whose youth was transformed because of the war struggles from last 20th century. More particularly, as was the case with those who sign these lines and have been killed by Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) while at a time of World war II's upheaval.

The vehicle leading these feelings and emotions is damned in the letters of his songs or hymns whose music resound forever with their hearts at a generation's youth that had been living them throughout its last thirty-forty centuries.

To thank them for their attention to this humble work I have been at the disposal of those who wish and will be interested in contrasting information or opinions about so convulsed, unforgettable years.
